This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for schoolstaffsafeguardingquiz.co.uk, and the SSSQ App. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by MC Education through these channels.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing 

• MC Education is the data processor of the information collected through its sites and its App. We only have access to and/or collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, booking form, login screen or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
• When staff log on to a quiz, a school will have the choice of how they enter their name. A school could instruct all staff to use their name, or initials, or they could distribute a numerical system to keep anonymised so that only the school administrator will know. This is the only information, alongside multi choice answers that are recorded within our database.
• We sub-process the information that schools choose to share with us to Cluesolvers Ltd who provide the software that creates the analysis of the quiz information shared. There is an ICO risk assessment, IDTA and a data sharing agreement with Cluesolvers.
• All data is stored on Google Firebase servers and these meet all ISO and SOC requirements. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Credit card details or other financial information is not collected directly by MC Education Ltd and is instead collected through a 3rd-party payment gateway governed by its own privacy policy detailed here.
• We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us, or to provide occasional information regarding our products. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfil your request, e.g. to ship an order.
• Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
• When the licence period expires, any data held will be removed from the database, unless the school/business renews.

Your Access to and Control Over Information 

• You may opt out of any future contact from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address on our website:
  • See what data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit information via the website or App, your information is protected both online and offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment (identified above with Google).
